Here, you can request a critique of your horse website from Leadmare. Since criticism is important to the development of any site, we hope that our reviews help make your site even better! Before applying, please read through the rules and decide which type of critique would work best for your site. We reserve the right to deny applications.

Rules:

Your site must be horse-related. This is a horse site after all.

Content cannot exceed a PG rating . We post links on this page to the sites we review, so no content unsuitable for minors (hate, porn, warez, etc.)

Sorry, no sim or role-playing games, link directories, or Expage sites.

No repeated applications. This means you can apply for a critique only once and for only one type of critique. Three weeks after your application, you can try for another type or the same type again (if you've changed your site). However, we do give preference to sites who have not already been reviewed.

No complaining. Our opinions are just that: opinions. If you don't agree with them, that's not our problem.

Types of Critiques:

Page-by-page critiques are pretty self-explanatory. Instead of the site being graded as a whole, each individual page is reviewed separately. This is recommended for small sites focusing on quality of content rather than design. No sites with more than 20 pages.

Layout critiques grade your overall site design for appearance, organization, and quality of graphics. The content itself is not graded, but rather, the way the content is presented.

Content critiques grade the quality of the content. For example, points might be gained for detailed, interesting articles or deducted for content that is purely filler. Organization and layout are not taken into account.

Usability critiques grade such aspects as load time, META tags, and search engine placements — factors in how many visitors you get and how long they stay.

HTML critiques basically look for clean coding and scripting. More efficient HTML makes for a quicker, better website. Flash plugins are also graded upon request.

Custom critiques grade only specified pages. For example, if you just added several new pages to your site, you could request a custom critique of only those pages. All pages that are outside those you specify will be ignored in the critique. You can also say what you want graded on those pages (full, layout, content, usability, HTML, etc.) Limit: 5 pages.
