WS_FTP LE is the free FTP program that we use to upload files
to Leadmare. We encourage you to download the file and then
take the interactive tutorial on the same site — it's
really helpful for first-timers and you get a little practice.
If you still need help, you're welcome to follow our tutorial.

1. When you first open WS_FTP LE, you'll see a pop-up like
the one below.

2. Enter a profile name (this is to distinguish between two
separate websites), your site's FTP address (normally something
like ftp.yoursite.com), then your account user ID and password.
Most host types are "Automatic detect." Click OK.
3. If your login information checks, you'll see a message saying
"Transfer Complete."

4. On one side of the window, you'll see your local system
files and on the other is the remote site, the place where you
need to upload your files.
5. Select all the files you want to upload and click the -->
arrow button to transfer. Be sure you are transferring to the
correct folder. Many hosts (for example, ours) have a certain
folder you need to upload in. This is often called something
like public_html.

6. Allow some time for the files to transfer. If you have your
sound turned on, WS_FTP LE normally makes a little ringing sound
when the transfer is complete. Plus you'll see the message "Transfer
Complete" in the same place as #3.
7. Voila! Check your site URL to make sure the upload was successful.
